COLUMBUS OVI CHECKPOINTS - JULY 7, 2017

The Franklin County DUI Task Force is conducting two checkpoints on July 7, 2017. 

The locations of these checkpoints are as follows:

Hamilton Rd. at Harbor Blvd. - 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Refugee Rd., west of Hamilton Rd. - 11:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.

Be safe this weekend, and remember - if you have been drinking, you should not be driving. However, if you do find yourself in a situation where you are pulled over after drinking, you do not have to submit to any testing. This is true of both the breathalyzer AND field sobriety testing. While your license will be suspended for a refusal, you will not be giving the state damaging evidence to present at trial.
